Desription of colour printer inks
Coloured printer ink cartridges are available for almost any make of inkjet printer. Cyan (also called blue), magenta (also called pink or red) and yellow (which is always called yellow) to fit Brother, Canon Pixma, Dell, Epson Stylus Pro, HP Deskjet, Designjet and Photosmart, Oki, Samsung, Xerox printers.
Colur ink uses
Colour printer inks are used for printing photographs or graphs where there are different shades of colour on the page. The colours that are available are cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan, light magenta and there are also some machines that take a red, green and grey.
How to choose the correct ink
First you need to check the make of your printer, then you need the model number or name. There is thenthe choice of what colour you require. There is sometimes only one cartridge containing all 3 colours, where as other times there are seperate cartridges for each colour.
Environmental option
